Coventry City Council
Our Local Authority
Eastern Green Junior School is a Local Authority maintained school within Coventry City Council.
This means that the school works closely with the Local Authority and with other schools across the city to ensure the highest standards of education, safeguarding and support for children and families.
Being part of Coventry’s Local Authority education system allows us to benefit from strong collaboration with other schools, professional services and specialist support teams. This partnership working helps ensure that pupils receive the best possible support both academically and pastorally.
Through our relationship with Coventry City Council, the school is supported in areas such as:
-
safeguarding and child protection
-
special educational needs and inclusion
-
school improvement and professional development
-
admissions and attendance
-
family support and early help services
Working within the Local Authority also allows us to collaborate closely with other Coventry schools, sharing expertise, training and good practice. This helps strengthen teaching, curriculum development and leadership across the city.
As a maintained school, we are proud to be part of Coventry’s wider education community, working together with the Local Authority and neighbouring schools to ensure that all children have access to a high-quality education in a safe and supportive environment.
