Monday Task 1 and 2

It’s your last week at Junior School!! As we can’t celebrate as we would have liked to we would like you to plan your own celebration to have at home. We would like you to create a menu for the food you would like to have at your party. You could then use your menu to create your shopping list and perhaps even be allowed to go buy your ingredients. Perhaps your parents could set you a budget? If any of the food needs making, you could spend some time getting creative in the kitchen.

We would also like you think about the party games you can play and also the set list to accompany your games and dancing.

If you are feeling really creative you could even make some ‘Leaving Junior School’ decorations to put up.

Have fun!!

Tuesday Task 1

Can you create your own Junior School board game? We would like you to think of the experiences you have had at EGJS and incorporate them into a fun game. Perhaps you could have things like

-You fall in the lake at Manor Advenuture, move back 10 places

You may or may not have noticed that on the wall outside of 5M there is a painted tree (you can see it from the path). Each year we ask year 6 to fill a leaf with a final message to Eastern Green- tell us what you are thankful for, or what you have really enjoyed in your time here. Make sure you write your name and your class on your leaf. If you are at home, please email us your leaf or send it into school so that we can add it to the tree.

Times Tables Rock Stars

What an exciting final week to our inter-house tournament! Eastern Green, your determination and competitive nature made it the highest scoring week so far! Over the three week tournament you have scored almost half a million correct answers in total! This is astounding - well done to everyone.

The final scores are as follows:

1. Merrick       157,483

2. Neal            149,258

3. Stafford      93,201

4. Curtis           90,135

A huge congratulations to Merrick!

For your final week, have a bit of fun in Times Tables Rock Stars. Have a go in some of the festivals and play against some of your friends or people from around the world! Challenge your friends to a 'Rockslam' and watch to see if they challenge you back. Or why not have a go in the studio ten times to see if you can improve your rock status.

You will have access to TTRS all over the summer too, so feel free to go on whenever you like to keep your times tables knowledge tip-top. As always, listening to rock music while playing is optional, but lots of fun!
